I realized after I created my big homeschool planner that I wanted a chart or list to hang on my refrigerator for the kids to know when they need to help at meal time, specifically dinner. This isn’t so much a sheet that goes in a planner as it is a sheet that you can use to hang up as a visual reminder. However, if you find this is something you can use in your planner, by all means, use it there too!
I am in planning mode for the upcoming school year, so I apologize that my freebies are mostly related to organization and digital planning. However, I hope they do help some of you!
In the pdf download, I have the days of the week (Sunday-Saturday) listed on the side. Then the top items are “Recipe/Meal Name“, “Meal Prep“, and “Dinner Clean-up“. Under the last 2, you’d put the name of the person who is doing meal prep and the person doing clean-up. I like to rotate my kids so I have my oldest doing meal prep; my youngest doing clean-up. Then I alternate all my children throughout the week. On Saturday, I’ve chosen to have that be a free day for them. I have three kids so I try to make it fair. But use this however you want. That’s just how I’m using it. You can print these each week, or laminate them and re-use them over and over using a dry erase marker.
